High-End Housing Sales in the Bay Area Correlate with Rise & Fall of VC Funding Levels

After we posted the relationship between the growing Internet population and venture capital funding rounds on pace to reach the highest levels since 2000, a savvy reader suggested we might be able to find a relationship between this trend and rising Bay Area housing costs.
